Born from a community of artists in Austin, TX, Fusebox has supported more than 1,200 projects and 4,000 artists over the past 20 years.

Through our city-wide biennial festival (April 13-19, 2026) and year-round series of performances and exhibitions, Fusebox connects thousands of people in Central Texas with brilliant artists from Austin and around the world.

We believe deeply in the act of gathering and the power of live performance to connect us, spark conversation, and shift how we see the world.

Fusebox Membership

Membership is a fun way to connect with some of our favorite artists throughout the year in different sites across Austin. By becoming a member you are contributing to an artistic ecosystem that is truly vital to our city. Membership also grants you admission (plus one!) to all eight of our new Fusebox Artist Salons running September – May.

Fusebox invites artists working across film, music, theater, dance, visual art, and literature to create vivid live performances, installations, and events at our flagship event, Fusebox Festival. The festival features artists from Austin and the world, and springs to life across Austin at sites ranging from intimate galleries, theaters, and clubs, to large scale projects in parks and warehouses. The next edition will take place April 13-19, 2026.

Fusebox now has a year-round slate of performances and events bringing some of our favorite artists from Austin and around the world. Anchoring this series is a partnership between Fusebox and Texas Performing Arts that includes the mutual presentation of bold projects to the Austin arts scene.
